Dirty Tricks were a British hard rock band of the mid seventies. The connection to Notts is bass player Terry Horbury. He played in local groups Barracuda and Rockets before joining Dirty Tricks. Terry went on to have a lifelong career in music particularly with NWOBHM band Vardis but also playing alongside the likes of Ozzy Osbourne and Nico McBain of Iron Maiden fame. I’ll take a look at Terry’s career in greater detail but this page will just serve as a basic Dirty Tricks history.
Dirty Tricks released 3 albums in the seventies and 3 singles. A box set containing all the albums and extra tracks was released in 2005.
