The roots of “Rockets” are the Mansfield based group Barracuda. When the five piece Barracuda broke up in 1972 Bruno, Terry and Steve were joined by ex Whichwhat guitarist Wayne Ford. Both Steve and Wayne had played in Whichwaht together and were both on the album “Whichwhat’s First” recorded in the summer of 1970 and released in January 1971.
