A short lived group from 1969-70 who played progressive blues. William Bryant was possibly the manager of the group as the “Bogus Cheques” newspaper article below suggests. It also tells of how they suffered at the hands of Raymond Glover, a pop promoter, who was involved in a court case in September 1970 for dishonesty. John Bryant had previously been in Red House Blues Band with Tim Disney. Mick Gorman had previously been in Nottingham group Love or Confusion. Mick Gorman met Nick Turner who had been performing as ‘Black Belch’ and from this friendship was formed High Bred Mishap in 1970.
