The UK Woodstock map

OFF TOPIC with Steve Mixup. A place for me to tell the odd story or two about the post war rock generation. If they couldn’t change the world at least they brought us some wonderful music.

THE BIRTH PLACE OF ALL THE BRITS WHO PLAYED WOODSOCK FESTIVAL IN 1969

Five British bands played at the Woodstock festival in 1969 and three other British musicians were in world famous groups that also played. I am unaware of any other British musicians who played but I stand to be corrected. Two musicians who played with the British bands were from New Zealand and the USA. I count 24. I can’t quite narrow down Jimmy Jewell’s birth place but the birth places of everybody who played from the United Kingdom are listed, not precisely, just generally, and geographically they are represented thus:

The Keef Hartley Band
