The Traffic

A Nottingham group in the summer of 1967 who had been called The Houndogs. They changed their name again at the end of the year or the beginning of 1968 to Mosaic Sunset probably because they became aware of “Traffic”, the group led by Steve Windwood, who attained national popularity during 1967.

Their likely line up was:

Graham Wyvill (bass),
Neil Rowe (drums)
Alan Carnell (vocals),
Chris Black (guitar/keyboards)
Gordon Beresford (lead guitar)

as this was the line up of Mosaic Sunset.
