The music has nothing directly to do with Notts but as it refers to Raleigh Bikes (world famous bicycle manufacturers) then it won’t hurt to hear them here. Two groovy beat numbers that were recorded at Joe Meeks studio by The Rally Rounders, which was a pseudonym for The Outlaws, a Joe Meek house band used for recordings, demos and auditions. This line up of The Outlaws featured a young Richie Blackmore along with Mick Underwood, Chas Hodges & Ken Lundgren. Richie would later become lead guitarist with Deep Purple along with Nottingham’s own Ian Paice.
