The Incas from Melton Mowbray mid 70s.
I saw these at the Town Arms on Trent Bridge. They were from Melton Mowbray I think.
Released an album and a single on Tank records. Discogs.
Line up:
Norman Stagles: Bass Guitar
John Maxwell: Guitar
Ted Bean: Drums
Bob Young: Engineer, Blues Harp
Monty Bird: Engineer
Normal Stagles did plenty of other work for Tank records. There is a John Maxwell who plays on Roky Erickson’s albums but it isn’t the same guy.
