Rockin’ Ron’s Combo

Rockin Ron’s Combo were a Nottingham group who played for a year before changing their name to the “Artful Dodgers” in September 1965. Playing the local area they also ventured out to the Lansbury club in Stamford and the Coronation Hall at Toton. Rockin’ Ron was Ron Kent, a saxophonist, who had been in previous groups with Terry Penn like Danny Carson and the 4 plus 1 & Shane Wyman and The Senators.
