Nottingham group 1971 who had formerly been called “Medicine Hat“.

At the beginning of September 1971 Medicine Hat changed their name to Pancho so not as to be confused with Medicine Head who had recently acquired national fame. They carried on playing till the end of the year when they disbanded.
There was another band called Pancho later in the seventies. This has nothing to do with this Pancho but is in fact the brass rock outfit Cisco who changed their name in 1978.
They recorded two songs at Beck studio’s and got them cut to acetate. They got a few acetates cut later at Nottingham Sound Studio which was run by Colin Horton.
“we went to Kettering to record it. Beck studio’s. Beck studios was in a church. he only had three revox machines but at the time it was amazing”.
