Terry Vickerstaff had previously played with the Water Melon Men, Emery Chase and Cisco / Pancho. John Daykin had played bass guitar with the Limelights and Emery Chase. Tony Penny had played with Jackie and the Laytons, Jaffa-Band and later Toasted Frog. Fred Smith who also played with Soul Concern, Pendulum and Cisco. Martin (I think) on keyboards.

Terry Vickerstaff recalls:
“Old School started in 1982 ( after another few years not playing since Cisco/Pancho) starting off as a 3 piece playing at a friends pub every Wednesday for free. Then l had a bad motor bike accident and a friend took over guitar while l recovered ( he stayed for a few years)

One number was a 10 minute cover of Free Bird. Played the Town Arms. I saw them with my old friend Phil Creswell.
