Magic Car

were formed in 1992. The line up was:
Hazel Atkinson: Vocals
Phil Smeeton: Guitar
Phil Jackson: Guitar
Pete Clark: Drums
Vaughn Wilkinson: Bass
Dave Langdon then joined on Pedal Steel. Keith Gotheridge replaced Pete Clark on drums.
1996: Keith Gotheridge and Vaughn Wilkinson left.
1996/98: In came: John Thompson: Bass, Chris Jackson: Banjo (brother of Phil), Dave Wilson: Harmonium and along with Hazel Atkinson: Vocals, Phil Smeeton: Guitar and Phil Jackson: Guitar and they changed the band name to “Little Criminals“.
Phil Jackson left and after a few years in Mansfield came back to Nottingham and joined “Loose Cannons” who eventually became “The Last Pedestrians“.

Hazel, Phil and the rest of the band returned to being called “Magic Car”.

Loose House – 1980’s – with Mark Joseph, Jez Hill, Simon Smeeton, Dave Mitchel, Toddy, Tim Boyden, Sarah Simons

Martin West
Strauss – 1977/78. Supported Gaffa at the Imperial. Supported Medium Medium at Hearty Goodfellow.
Noize Boyz – 1982 (With some ex members of Wheels. Graham Evans, Martin Skinner, Paul Richards)
Paraffin Men – 1980’s – A duo with Graham Evans.
