Lambs of the World

Nottingham beat pop group 1967-68

John (Chambo) Chambers: Bass
Clive Lynch: Vocals
Mick Vaughan: Guitar
John Raynor: Drums

Clive ‘Sutch’ Lynch had started his musical career when joining local Nottingham group The Mysteries / The Mystery Blues on vocals also touring Germany and Spain. By then they had probably changed their name to Mothers Worry. Clive also worked with Nottingham group ‘Orlovus Incorparated’, who as the name suggests were a floating line up of local musicians finding spots at places like the Sherwood Rooms.

They played on the Notts, Derbyshire, South Yorks and Lincs circuit.

The group dropped the ‘Little’ from their name and later in 1968 they changed their name to ‘Tiddlewinks’.

Mick Vaughan later became a member of Paper Lace and John Rayner played in Billy Fury’s Backing band The Tornadoes.

Clive Lynch then moved into the world of entertainment performing as solo artiste Carrington Brookes.
