I keep seeing so many conflicting reports about The Beatles playing Nottingham so I thought I would lay out the basic facts. They played four (4) times in Nottingham although three of those gigs would have consisted of two separate shows on the same day. Here are the 4 dates and venue:

Thursday March 7 1963, Elizabethan Ballroom, Co-op
Thursday May 23 1963, Odeon Cinema
Thursday December 12 1963, Odeon Cinema
Thursday November 5 1964, Odeon Cinema

There is enough information out there to substantiate these gigs and at a later point I will bring together as much of it as possible and illuminate this story further.
