A new wave band from Mansfield, Notts formed in 1978 from the remnants of punk band The Aborted.
When the Mansfield punk band The Aborted came to an end Manor School pupils, vocalist/bassist Steve Hovington, guitarist Paul Statham, keyboardist Rick Holliday from Kirkby in Ashfield and drummer Graham Boffey formed B Movie after originally calling themselves Studio 10 after a local hairdressing salon. They played their first gig at Mansfield’s Red Lion.
