Sixties Nottingham group that featured Terry Bennett who went on to join Welsh group Sassafras in the 1970’s and enjoy success touring and recording. Terry had great vocals and a wonderful tambourine technique. He was also in local band X-IT before joining Sassafras.

The Breed formed in 1966 from the ashes of The Tykons and The Starlites to turn professional and tour abroad. While back in the UK in August they were set to record a demo disc in Northampton (which must mean Studio 36) in their quest to get a recording deal. Whether this disc was recorded or still exists isn’t known.
