Nottingham group circa 1969
Line up:
Graham Gamble (drums)
Win Jones (vocals)
Pete Tattersall (guitar vocals)
Andy Williams (bass guitar),
They had started out in 1966 as The Blue Spots and changed their name in late 1967. In December of 1967 they were billed to appear alongside Amen Corner who were then unable to do the gig and were replaced by “Mr Psychedelic Himself”, Pink Floyd. Pink Floyd and Amen Corner had both been on the Jimi Hendrix package tour of November and early December 1967 so it is likely that this association allowed Pink Floyd to fill in for the gig when Amen Corner had to drop out.
As The Litter they went to Clive Gamble’s Codolar Studio on High Pavement to record some songs circa 68/69.
After the demise of The Litter, Pete Tattersall joined Medicine Hat in late 1969 who in turn changed their name to Pancho in Sept 1971.
