“Dave Weston: Another Nottingham band but not sure of name. Bob Rowe is in front of the phone box. Anyone know them?Dave Weston: Three members that I know of are the fantastic Bass Player Eddie Cooke, Lead Singer Steve Greenfield and Bob Rowe who I know plays keyboards.The name of the band is Steve and the Straycats.Thanks to Eddie’s lovely partner Susan Hayes.”

Steve & the Straycats
From Nottingham, some members went on to form Sons & Lovers. Played at the Dungeon on several occasions, including as support for the Kinks, but these are not documented.
