VOLUME 4

Volume 4 formed in 1963 in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire with a line-up of Spike Cowlard on lead guitar, vocals (b. Robin Cowlard, July 1946, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England), Brian Chettle on bass, vocals (d. 1965), Mick Bachelor (Jameson) on rhythm guitar (b. Michael James Bachelor, June 1942, Ruddington Village, Nottinghamshire, England) and Mick Hemsley on drums (b. Michael Hemsley). 

When Chettle died in 1965 he was replaced by bassist, vocalist Eddie Cooke (b. Edward Alan Cooke, Friday, May 24, 1946, Ruddington Village, Nottinghamshire, England d. Sunday, June 10, 2012, Nottingham City Hospital, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England). 

Volume 4 split in 1966.
