Verbal Warning Demos 1981 – 1983. Paul Tomlinson explains:
“here’s a copy of the album that retro-records released, it’s of variable quality, from rough studio demo, live recordings to practices recorded with a cheap microphone onto a cassette deck. It came about when Paul Kelly came across the tracks on Last FM (not there anymore) and asked if he could release them on his label, he loved the rough sound, don’t know whether he ever sold any. The last 6 tracks are from our infamous Union gig with Conflict (the pink poster), the sound isn’t good but the comments from Dave our singer are priceless, “you can gob all you want, we’re not getting off” and “it’s only rock and roll and you’re all rock and rollers at this rock and roll establishment”, that’s why Conflict pulled the plug on the PA and throw us off stage, anarchy eh?”

The live tracks can be heard here.
