Plummet Airlines

Plummet Airlines were a pub rock band from Nottingham who were formed when Harry Stephenson became the front man of the rump of Moonlight Drive who then called themselves The Brothel Creepers. They changed their name to Glider and in 1975 to Plummet Airlines. They recorded two John Peel sessions and released two singles, their first an early release on Stiff records. Success didn’t quite come their way and they split at the end of 1977. A retrospective album was released in the early eighties.
