SAGGY PANTS MAGAZINE 2005-07

I don’t usually write much about the more recent music scenes in Nottingham because my site dedicated to the first wave of popular groups and artists in and around Nottingham from the 1950’s to the mid 1980’s but it doesn’t hurt to take a peek into things from not to long ago. Saying that, this is twenty years ago already and I did see a good few of these bands.

Saggy Pants was a short lived music magazine giving a snapshot of Nottingham’s underground music scene in 2005-06. Run by a bunch of guys, Gaz, Steph and Glynn among others, they kept the flag flying for Nottingham rock, punk and ska, interviewing and reviewing the bands of the day.

Glynn Quelch has made all the magazines, articles, bands, and plenty of audio available at his website. Check it out.
