They had a blue van bearing the name “Blue Stars”.
They had a group manager who lived on Bluebell Jill Road, Carlton.

They took part in a beat contest in July 1966 at the Sherwood rooms alonside The Intruders, The Four Reasons, The Salty Dogs, The Strangers, The Traffic and Ye Mungruls.

They had an audition in Basford in Sept, 1966
They played gigs at the Springwater Social Club.

It may be possible that the Blue Star Garage was an inspiration for their name.
