1972 group featuring John E. Moon who later formed Care in 1973 and would eventually become a recording engineer at the newly opened Radio Trent. They played The Plough and Harrow in Hucknall and Aquarius in Lincoln among others.

John Moon originated from the Langwith / Shirebrook area and often went to Mansfield to watch groups in his youth so it is likely that Dead Lizard came from that end of Notts / Derbyshire border.
